Ruby red with a violet rim. Powerful, with a good combination of red fruits and spicy and toasty notes from the barrel. Pleasant, well-balanced with round tannins (soft, subtle, and fine-textured) which linger in the mouth. Works perfectly with heavier dishes, such as stews, and meats such as rabbit, lamb, and beef. The perfect match for Mediterranean gastronomy.
