Bodega de Forlong is a creation of two young entrepreneurs, in love with wine. They created Forlong, a little winery dedicated to the production of high-quality wines, made in a total artisan way, so called “auteur wines”. They focus on the quality of the grapes instead of the quantity. Forlong is an organic wine on the vine and in the creation process. Also, the vineyard receives biodynamic care including the use of an astrological sowing and planting calendar which helps to achieve a perfect function of the plants and a high quality in the grapes. We focus on the primary aromas therefore preserving the terroir. Forrlong’s terroir is the “albariza” a limestone-based soil. We believe that the fruits of our labor should be something shared with others so that those persons can take part in our joy, our pride, and our sense of achievement through the pleasure of our wines.

The wine with medium-high depth, with cherry-like tones, hints of violet due to its youth, and reddish tears. At first, notes of blackcurrant stand out, with a background of quince jelly and tobacco. Profound and expressive aroma, elegant, intense, and very perfumed. Standing out are red and black fruits, raspberry marmalade, cinnamon, cocoa powder, black plum, a hint of nutmeg and black pepper, blackberry, vanilla, strawberries, a veil of violets, and balsamic touches. Nice entrance, warm, intense transit, savory, full-bodied, with fresh and delicate acidity, sweet tannins, notes of cocoa, and a slight tickle in the throat. At the end of the palate, we are left with a certain floral touch which provides freshness and invites one to continue enjoying this wine. In the finish, those aromas, previously described in the olfactory phase, appear again along with elegant mineral reminders (albariza) which reveal the wine´s provenance.
