Kairyo | Negon

A wine full of history and symbolism: the legend (Japanese) tells that the fish (koi carp) that managed to swim up the river to the waterfall and climb it, when they arrive and overcome it, as a reward for their effort, they became dragons. We start the ascent upstream with this beautiful project "kairyo" to ascend the waterfall and the wines become Dragons.

Tasting Notes

At sight, we see it bright and clean, with purple tones towards red. Kairyo is expressive and subtle on the nose, with marked shades of raspberry and blackberry, evolving to subtle balsamic and soft minerality characteristic of our terroir. The palate is strong at the beginning with an elegant evolution on the palate, marked but friendly tannin. Very pleasant step and great alcohol, acidity, and body roundness. You can drink alone, we recommend a good company with whom to share the bottle. Good grilled red meats, grilled lamb, game stews. Wine service temperature: 14-16℃
