We have all heard about an “imaginary friend” perhaps, it’s even possible that we have had one or various imaginary friends who accompanied us and made us feel special. In this case, our imaginary friend is a special white wine which has been created as if it were a red one.

Tasting Notes

We observe an amber colour along with golden highlights and very dense legs that slowly glide down the wall of the glass. When we smell, it’s delicate, initial aromas are reminiscent of tropical fruit within a nutty and roasted backdrop. There is also a subtle balance provide by its aging in oloroso vat. We can also note a chalky aroma which perfectly reminds one of its origin, the typical “albariza”vineyard soil. It has a pleasant, yet eager, introduction with its dense glycerin, followed by a strong hint of salinity, which is not uncommon in a palomino crianza wine. After our first sip, we taste it again. It has good density in the mouth and we note the length of this wine throughout the palate.
