Choza | Bodegas Medrano Irazu

From "Castillo de Osés" we wanted to dedicate our range of "Choza" wines to all those people who worked in the vineyard at any time in their lives. Our grandparents tell us that in the past, these huts were built in the middle of the vineyards to keep the tools and to protect themselves from the inclement weather. During the harvest, they also cooked lunches for the quadrille to get through the long workdays there. Therefore, «Choza» will always be part of the landscape of our vineyards in Rioja Alavesa.

Tasting Notes

Smooth on the palate thanks to its aging in wood with a notable presence of ripe fruit. High intensity, ripe fruit aromas with notes of vanilla and hazelnut. Perfect with grilled or sauced meats, sausages, and ham. Serving temperature 16-18℃
