Sillares | Terramagna

Sillares are carved stones that were formerly used to build great monuments. These stones are found in the main monuments of the Denominations of Origin of the Sillares wines and also in our winery and Cortijo Trifillas. Each of the monuments in which these stones were used, were built with the effort of their communities, who over several years put all their efforts and passion so that their work became a benchmark in that territory and became part of several centuries of history. These values are also part of the Terramagna culture. A winery with 150 years of history, which stone by stone has been building its project. Sillares is a tribute to those monuments in which each stone was placed and sculpted with the effort to build something great that would last over the years. That is why, in addition to this range of wines, both our winery and the Cortijo where the family previously lived, contain Sillar stones in their construction that reminds us of our essence, our origins, and our values.

Tasting Notes

Intense purple color, violet tones, and high layer. In the nose, it displays a wide range of aromas such as licorice, smoky nuances, ripe red fruits, and subtleties of aromas vanilla by fine-grain oak. In the mouth it is very expressive, elegant, with polished and sweet tannins, fleshy, long-lasting, permanent, leaving a pleasant and sweet aftertaste.
