Choza | Bodegas Medrano Irazu

From "Castillo de Osés" we wanted to dedicate our range of "Choza" wines to all those people who worked in the vineyard at any time in their lives. Our grandparents tell us that in the past, these huts were built in the middle of the vineyards to keep the tools and to protect themselves from the inclement weather. During the harvest, they also cooked lunches for the quadrille to get through the long workdays there. Therefore, «Choza» will always be part of the landscape of our vineyards in Rioja Alavesa.

Tasting Notes

This wine is very well balanced on the palate with a very pleasant acidity and a long and harmonious aftertaste. The aroma is elegant with fruity notes accompanied by citrus fruits that complement its personality. Perfect with seafood, rice, and fish. Serving temperature 10ºC-12ºC
