Balmeta is a single varietal wine made from the Carignan, the most traditional grape of the Empordà, a land of flowers and red skies, where the vines stoically resist the Tramontane north wind. This wine has been created to convey the spirit and strength of our land and relate our history.

Tasting Notes

An intense, vibrant cherry-coloured wine. With aromas of candied black fruits like cherries and blackberries, combined with hints of grey pepper. A full-bodied, powerful wine in the mouth, with the presence of tannins and an after-taste with touches of vanilla and exotic spices. Ideal to take at any time of the day, whether as appetizers, with tapas and cold cuts, or to accompany meats of all kinds, stewed or grilled.
